An extensive 60-day journey through the Land Down Under is being halted following the fatal incident of an elderly female passenger who was left behind by the ship on a isolated tropical isle.

The elderly woman had been walking on the remote island with fellow passengers from the vessel, but separated from the party for a break. The liner departed without her and returned several hours later after the personnel discovered the woman was missing.

A large-scale rescue mission discovered her remains the next day.
