This incident caused the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
